Health Ministry to increase medical teams at main airports, POEs
The targeted airports are Cairo, Sharm El-Sheikh, Hurghada, Marsa Alam, Luxor, Aswan, and Borg El Arab.

Egypt's Minister of Higher Education and Acting Minister of Health, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, asserted the need to increase the number of medical teams at main airports as part of the state's plan to contain the coronavirus (COVID-19) spread and maintain the inbound tourism movement.
The targeted airports are Cairo, Sharm El-Sheikh, Hurghada, Marsa Alam, Luxor, Aswan, and Borg El Arab.
The Minister also reviewed the progress of quarantine work at the country's different ports of entry, which include 18 airports, 13 seaports, and 6 land POEs. He followed up on the preventive and precautionary measures taken at these areas, which includes conducting PCR analysis and checking COVID-19 vaccination certificates.
He has also directed to overcome any obstacles that may face the quarantine, pointing to coordination with the Ministry of Civil Aviation to ensure the health and safety of all arrivals and travelers, prevent crowding, and provide the best medical and preventive service, in light of the increasing number of flights coming to Egypt.
Abdel Ghaffar hailed all the medical teams and the Ministry of Health for their great efforts in responding to the coronavirus pandemic, directing to grant all medical teams working in quarantine additional incentives during the coronavirus pandemic.
