Tourism Minister follows up on preparations for Avenue of Sphinxes reopening after restoration

Khaled El-Anani, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, held several meetings to discuss the ministry's tourism promotion plan. He also followed up on the preparations for the Avenue of Sphinxes reopening in Luxor.
The ministry put an action plan for upcoming tourism events to highlight Egypt's diverse tourist patterns and products. The meeting reviewed a group of rare pictures from the 19th Century of the Karnak and Luxor temples, and the most important archaeological discoveries in the area. Pictures of the kings who contributed to building the Avenue of Sphinxes will be displayed during the reopening ceremony.
In a related context, El-Anani met with officials of the company responsible for the reopening ceremony of the Avenue of Sphinxes, in which they discussed the details of the event, including decorations, artistic elements, and advertising materials, which will be used in streets, squares, and markets in Luxor, as well as the costumes of dancers and musicians in the celebration.
The meetings were attended by the Deputy Minister for Tourism Affairs, the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, the CEO of the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board (ETPB), a number of the minister's assistants and advisors, and other stakeholders.
