Health Minister inspects execution progress of Bulaq General Hospital
Investment cost of new hospital amounts to EGP 750m

Egypt's Minister of Health and Population, Hala Zayed, has followed up on the execution progress of the new Bulaq Abu El-Ela General Hospital, with an investment cost of about EGP 750m.
The Minister was accompanied during her tour by Governor of Cairo Khaled Abdel-Aal, Head of the Therapeutic Medicine Sector Mohsen Taha.
The Minister listened to a detailed explanation about the constitution process of the hospital, which consists of six floors with a total area of 31,000 sqm, and a capacity of 130 internal beds, including 57 intensive care beds, as well as 10 outpatient clinics in various specialties, five operating rooms, and an internal pharmacy.
The hospital includes a kidney dialysis unit with a capacity of 19 machines, 20 nurseries for children and 2 birth booths, as well as an integrated radiology center that includes (CT, X-ray, magnetic resonance, panorama x-ray, fluoroscopy, Doppler, ultrasound), in addition to a section for the main blood laboratories, as well as a dental lab, According to a statement by the health Ministry.
The Minister announced that a medical services complex will be established and attached to the hospital, to become the first type of medical edifice, which will be established in all governorate capitals in line with the progress that Egypt is witnessing in various fields, calling on the private sector to benefit from This new approach,.
The statement said that complex will be built with a total area of 8,800 sqm, and is scheduled to include 50 clinics and medical centers with all medical specialties, integrated radiology centers, analysis centers, pharmacies, gyms, and physiotherapy centers, as well as medical exhibitions for medical devices.
Zayed hailed the distinguished geographical location of Bulaq General Hospital, which is located in the heart of the capital, Cairo, and has all the facilities that help citizens of transportation, and public services.
Abdel-Al confirmed that Bulaq Abu El-Ela Hospital fulfills a dream for the people of the region after several years of stumbling, as all licenses for starting the construction of the hospital have been completed, noting that this medical edifice is located in a privileged place in the city center providing distinguished service for citizens.
