Egypt Health Ministry awareness teams reached 17,000 in Suez
Ministry sets up 13 medical kiosks, 15 mobile clinics in Ain Sokhna to provide medical services

Egypt's Minister of Health and Population Hala Zayed said, on Monday, that community communication teams have provided health awareness to 17,000 citizens and tourists in the Suez Governorate.
The awareness teams worked from 18 May to 24 May, as part of the medical insurance plan in the governorate.
The health awareness plan is being implemented in all Egypt's tourism cities, in conjunction with the frequency of holidaymakers in the coastal governorates during the summer season.
In a statement, Zayed added that the plan comes as part of her ministry's keenness to provide all medical services to citizens and tourists visiting those areas.
It supports the state's plan to stimulate tourism, and spread health awareness by following precautionary and preventive measures against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The medical insurance plan for the Suez Governorate includes the deployment of community communications teams in tourism villages, public markets, cafes, shops, hotels and gathering places in Ain Sokhna.
The plan, which includes 15 mobile clinics and 13 medical kiosks, aims to provide health awareness alongside precautionary measures and health and safety advice for the coronavirus to visitors at tourism hotspots.
This includes awareness on the importance of wearing face masks, frequent hand washing with soap and water or rubbing them with alcohol, and maintaining social distancing.
Moreover, awareness is also provided to citizens and workers in the tourism sector about the importance of receiving the coronavirus vaccine. Advice is given on how to register via the official website dedicated to the COVID-19 vaccination.
