Belarus proposes roadmap to cooperate with military production ministry in industrialisation
The committee discussed the latest developments of cooperation between Egyptian and Belarusian companies in the field of military manufacturing

The Egyptian-Belarusian Military Industry Committee held a meeting to discuss boosting cooperation in military industrialisation, in the presence of the Minister of Military Production Mohamed Al-Assar and his Belarusian counterpart Golovchenko Roman Aleksandrovich.

The committee discussed the latest developments of cooperation between Egyptian and Belarusian companies in the field of military manufacturing.

The Egyptian ministry of military production stressed its keenness to establish joint industries with Belarus because it has advanced technology in military manufacturing, which can be used to develop the military industries and modernise the defence systems in Egypt.

Aleksandrovich presented a “roadmap” for bilateral cooperation in the field of manufacturing and development of certain military equipment, which will lead to the production of modern equipment at competitive prices being introduced in the surrounding Arab markets as well as African markets.

Head of Egypt-based Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), Abdel-Moneim El-Terras, stressed the importance of cooperation and benefiting from the distinguished expertise of Belarus in many areas of industry.

He noted that President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi has encouraged the development of defence and civil industries according to the latest global technologies.

He referred to cooperation with Belarus in training, exchange of expertise, and technical information, the possibility of transferring and settling technology and joint industrialisation, and benefiting from the advanced industrial base of the AOI in the field of defence and civil industries, in addition to maintenance of aircraft, trucks, optics, equipment maintenance, artificial intelligence, security, tracking and control equipment, communication equipment, electronics, information technology, and engineering systems.

Aleksandrovich said that Belarusian companies are also keen to share their expertise and advanced technology in several fields with Egypt, in cooperation with the AOI.
