Company doing its best to support Egyptian vision of digitisation, financial inclusion, says Sarhan

e-Finance, a company specialised in e-payment and collection, has signed a protocol with Wasla Egypt for financial inclusion, to facilitate the procedures for paying universities' tuition fees.
The protocol of cooperation was signed by Ibrahim Sarhan, chairperson of e-Finance, and Asmaa Hosni, chairperson of Wasla Egypt. The protocol comes in the context of e-finance's high-tech infrastructure, and an electronic network that is secured, and encrypted according to the latest measurements, and its expertise in information exchange to provide e-payment services.
Sarhan said that the company is doing its best to support the Egyptian vision of digitisation, and financial inclusion. “Payment of fees electronically is a step on the right track,” he added, noting that e-finance will work to provide a mechanism to integrate payment, and a collection centre ran by e-finance, and Wasla Egypt's websites, to enable students to pay fees electronically. The company will also make payment data available to Wasla Egypt instantly, to confirm payment transactions to the universities contracted with Wasla Egypt.
For her part, Hosni said that Wasla Egypt is one of the tools to achieve the Egyptian state's strategy of financial inclusion, to support the Egyptian economy and activate the decisions of the Supreme Council of Payments. “Wasla Egypt is a platform for e-payments and e-collection for private universities around Egypt. We want to develop the process to ensure efficiency and speed, and make it easier for students to pay fees,” Hosni stressed.
Wasla Egypt will play a major role in this cooperation through linking the private universities that want to automate payments with the e-collection system run by e-finance, in accordance with the technical specifications, while ensuring the possibility of querying, and making collection available electronically, concluded Hosni.
