Complete Energy to build 120 MW solar energy plants
We have completed inauguration of station for Emirati Masdar in Tushka, says Al-Haddad

Complete Energy Solutions has been contracted to design and implement 120 MW solar power plants in Benban, Aswan as part of the second phase of the feed-in tariff projects.
Mohammed Al-Haddad, director of business development at the company, said the completion of the design and implementation of the two plants will happen this year, and the period required to construct one station ranges from six to 10 months.
He explained that Complete Energy Solutions has completed the launch of a 20 MW solar power plant in Tushka for Emirati Masdar, with investments of up to $25m. The plant produces electrical power for the farms located in Tushka and sells the surplus to the national electricity grid.
He explained that the plant produces 38,000 MW annually, as 164,000 solar panels were installed, in addition to about 30 feeder and power transformers. This is considered the first project to be implemented with great capabilities in Egypt, according to Al-Haddad.
"Despite the high prices of the work of contractors for the implementation of solar plants, Complete Energy Solutions was able to cope with the challenges, and was able to implement the Masdar station in accordance with the time schedule agreed upon," Al-Haddad said.
Haddad added that the total capacity contracted upon for the implementation of small solar power plants is 1,000 kW, distributed across projects in Egypt, Jordan, and the UAE, and the method of calculating the value sold from the station varies from country to country.
He said that Complete Energy Solutions is competing with the Egyptian Solar Energy Systems Company to implement solar power plants in the buildings of Telecom Egypt (TE), as it qualified technically and provided its financial bid, and is currently awaiting the announcement of the final result.
According to the tender launched by TE, the winning company will install solar power plants of different capacities: 15, 30, 60, or 90 kW. The total number of stations has not been determined yet, however, it is likely to be 200 stations.
Al-Haddad revealed that Complete Energy Solutions has contracted with Arab Petroleum Pipelines Co (SUMED) to install a 60 kW solar power plant on the company's roof in Alexandria.
It also contracted to launch a 210 kW solar power plant in UAE at the top of the building with the Crown Prince's office. The company will start the installation work in mid-March and will complete its delivery by the end of the same month.
