5 best achievements of Arab football players in Europe

European football leagues have recently witnessed a real golden generation of professional Arab players who became comparable with the best players in the world.
Many players of various Arab nationalities have participated in making history in European stadiums.
The following lines shed light on the best achievements of Arab players in Europe.
Rabah Madjer – Algeria
Algerian legend Mustapha Rabah Madjer led Porto to win nine major titles during his six-year spell, including three national championships and the 1987 European Cup (now UEFA Champions League).
Madjer scored three goals in the European Cup with Porto; the most important was his historic goal in the final game.
Riyad Mahrez – Algeria
Riyad Mahrez contributed significantly to Leicester City's winning of its first English Premier League (EPL) title in the 2014/2015 season.
Mahrez was also named the EPL Player of the Year, becoming the first Arab player to win this award, after scoring 17 goals and making 11 assists in his first season in the English league.
Mohamed Salah – Egypt
Egyptian star Mohamed Salah presented an extraordinary performance in his first season with Liverpool, breaking the club legend Robbie Fowler's long-standing Premier League record by scoring 15 goals in his first 15 games with Liverpool.
Salah scored on Sunday his 21st goal with Liverpool in the English Premier League against Tottenham, becoming the fourth player in the club's history to score more than 20 goals in one season.
Noureddine Naybet – Morocco
Moroccan defender Noureddine Naybet spent most of his 17-year professional career with Deportivo de La Coruña, appearing in 284 competitive games and winning four major titles, including the 2000 La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Super Cup, and reaching the European Champions League semi-final.
Marouane Chamakh – Morocco
Moroccan striker Marouane Chamakh scored at least one goal in six consecutive European Champions League matches with FC Girondins de Bordeaux against Olympiacos (2 goals), Olympique Lyonnais (2 goals), Arsenal, Sporting Clube de Braga, and Shakhtar Donetsk.
