German chancellor Angela Merkel to visit Egypt in March: Egyptian ambassador

Egyptian Ambassador to Germany Badr Abdelatty said on Wednesday that German chancellor Angela Merkel will visit Egypt next March, in order to discuss bilateral co-operation between Egypt and Germany in the field of developmental projects
According to Egyptian local media reports, Abdelatty announced that the visit of the German chancellor is set to take place in March, mentioning that during a speech at the welcoming celebration for the Egyptian delegation at International German agricultural show Fruit Logistica
Senior media officials inside the German Embassy in Cairo on Wednesday asserted to Daily News Egypt that up until now there is no official confirmation regarding the visit of Merkel to Egypt
Fruit Logistica is currently being held in the German capital of Berlin, with the participation of Egyptian business delegations and Members of the Egyptian parliament
