Exhibitions to take place in Poland at the end of November, Vienna by mid-January, and Istanbul at the end of January, among others

The Egyptian Travel Agents Association (ETAA) received the Ministry of Tourism's annual plan for participation in exhibitions during fiscal year (FY) 2015/2016.
The ministry's plan includes participation in 10 international exhibitions in Europe, Turkey and the Arabian Gulf.
The ministry's plan offers travel agencies and companies the chance to participate in the exhibitions at a cost of about €1,350. The cost of participation is the same as last year, according to the ministry.
In spite of tensions in political relations between Egypt and Turkey, the Ministry of Tourism decided to participate in the EMITT exhibition that is to be held in Istanbul at the end of January next year.
Exhibitions are being held in Poland at the end of November, Vienna in mid-January, and Istanbul at the end of January, in addition to other exhibitions in Madrid, Milan, and Berlin, as well as two others in Riyadh and Dubai at the end of April
The ITB Berlin is considered the most important exhibition, in addition to another one in Poland, two in Russia, and another in Dubai.
The official said the exhibitions plan comes within the framework of coordination between the Tourism Activation Authority and the Egyptian Tourism Federation.
The Egyptian Tourism Federation is composed of five chambers of tourism: the Egyptian Travel Agents Association, the Chamber of Diving and Water sports, the Chamber of Hotels, the Chamber of Tourist Restaurants, and the Egyptian Chamber of Tourist Commodities.
Chairman of the Chamber of Hotels Mohammed Ayoub said in a telephone call from London during his participation in the WTM exhibition that about 42 Egyptian hotels are participating in the event.
Minister of Tourism Hisham Zaazou previously told Daily News Egypt that the ministry aims to encourage and support Arab inbound tourism flow, especially from Kuwait, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. Arab inbound tourism to Egypt accounts for 20% of the total tourism flow to Egypt every year.
The number of tourists who visited Egypt last year amounted to 9.9 million tourists compared to 10 million tourists in 2013.
