Airport officials ban Islamic preacher from leaving country
Earlier Wednesday, the Ministry of Religious Endowments accused Mohamed Jebril of politicising prayers

Airport officials at Cairo International Airport have banned Islamic cleric Mohamed Jebril from travelling to London.
State media said the preacher was stopped after a security apparatus requested his travel ban.
On Tuesday, Minister of Religious Endowments Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa said that Jebril "utilised the prayers politically", and "traded with the people's emotions".
