UAE, Egyptian military officers killed during exercises

Two Egyptian and two Emirati military officers died in a plane crash during joint military exercises on Wednesday, a military spokesperson said in a statement Wednesday night.
The statement added that a technical committee has been formed to investigate the accident.
The crash took place in Egypt, UAE-based news agency WAM reported.
The current governments of the UAE and Egypt are reportedly close allies.
