Mashreq Bank partners with Chrysler Egypt
Published in Daily News Egypt on 22 - 05 - 2011

CAIRO: In an effort to strengthen their lending services and products, Mashreq Egypt, one of the region's leading financial institutions, will be partnering with Chrysler Egypt.
As Mashreq-Chrysler's “co-branded” campaign has officially been launched, there will now be several auto loan sales teams available for customer service and assistance at all Chrysler dealers across Egypt.
The collaboration aims to offer better auto loan deals in the market, which will allow customers who may want to buy the newer models of Chrysler vehicles.
“At Mashreq, we constantly look for successful partnerships to offer our customers with value added products,” said Tarek Fawzy, Country Head of Mashreq Egypt in a press statement.
The bank will be exclusively offering different financing programs to Chrysler customers, including a zero percent down payment program for official Chrysler dealers in Egypt.
“This agreement with Chrysler Egypt will certainly expand product offerings and serve our customers, who wish to purchase unique vehicles,” Fawzy added.
According to Mashreq's vision, these loans are specifically designed with the “objective of assisting customers to borrow wisely.”
“Tailored to meet the needs of individual customers, the Mashreq Egypt Auto-Loan offer reinforces the bank's strategic approach of introducing innovative and convenient solutions to customers,” the statement read.
Mashreq, which was founded in Oman in 1967, is one of the largest banks in the UAE. The bank has been one of the leading financial institutions offering foreign trade services, direct banking, or mortgage services in Egypt and the region for the past 40 years.
Calling the Mashreq-Chrysler collaboration a “convenient and innovative package, “Mashreq Egypt hopes to “provide financial support and peace of mind” to their customers.
Chrysler Egypt announced it would resume operations at full capacity on Feb. 15, just four days after the nation's January 25 Revolution pushed Hosni Mubarak out of power following 18 consecutive days of nationwide protests.

In the same statement, they said they are preparing a strategy to contribute to the development of Egypt “as a way of giving back to this great nation.”
Owned by Chrysler LLC, Chrysler Egypt is the sole seller and distributor, after-sale service provider, as well as marketer of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram vehicles in the country.
