Mido shines in Egypt training

CAIRO: Middlesbrough striker Ahmed "Mido Hossam caught the eyes during Egypt s Thursday training session ahead of the World Cup qualifier against Djibouti.
Mido is taking part in Egypt s Alexandria training camp in preparations for the Pharaos final second stage qualifier on Oct. 12.
Alongside Wigan Athletic s Amr Zaki, Mido raised the eyebrows in Thursday s training by scoring twice.
Meanwhile, Zaki ended fears about his calf injury after taking part in the whole session.
Alongside Mido and Zaki, goalkeepers Essam Al-Hadari and Abdel-Wahed Al-Sayed also gave good performances during the session.
Egypt already guaranteed qualifying to the next round as they top group 12 with 12 points out of five games.
