CAIRO: Mona and Walid's relationship had its problems. But unlike many other couples' complicated relationships, this one led Walid to jump off the fourth floor balcony to get out of a tight spot that Mona and her sister Marwa had cornered him in. According to Al-Gomhuria daily Mona, who was six years older than Walid, was his neighbor and sweetheart. However their relationship came to an end and she got married and had a child. But Walid couldn't move on and so he got entangled with her sister Marwa, who liked him in return, not knowing that he was her older sister's ex-lover. When Marwa found out about Walid's affair with Mona, she told her older sister about her relationship with him and Mona advised her to turn him down. One day Marwa asked Walid over to their place. When he arrived he was shocked to find his old sweetheart receiving him along with her sister. When Walid refused to stay away from them and started swearing and threatening, both girls began to scream, accusing him of being a thief. Walid found no way out but to jump off the window of their fourth-floor apartment to avoid a scandal. He was taken to hospital and the case was investigated.
