By mid-2010, Cairo will welcome a new Nile-side boutique hotel in Garden City: Kempinski Nile Hotel.
Reto Wittwer, CEO and president of the hotel group, announced the expected opening date on a recent trip to Cairo, where he was accompanied by Kempinski's corporate and regional team.

"We are delighted that TMG is the one to bring this level of luxury to Cairo hospitality sector for the first time. Kempinski is synonymous with distinctive luxury and individuality of portfolio, a positioning that we believe very much matches our new addition on the Nile banks to the TMG prestigious portfolio.
Kempinski Nile Hotel will replace an old hotel on the river banks in one the heart of one of Cairo's downtown areas. The hotel was revamped in just 30 months, evolving the décor and character into a more contemporary set-up that captures the essence of style and relaxed elegance.
The interior design of the 191-room boutique style hotel was done by world renowned French architect Pierre Yves Rochon. The hotel will boast an array of culinary delights, offering a range of exquisite cuisines, alongside the bar and lounges that will open for leisure and entertainment all under the supervision of an international seasoned Executive Chef with Michelin Star restaurants experience.
The outlets range from a rooftop pool bar, shisha lounge, an Ottoman restaurant, Jazz bar and chic dining restaurant. The hotel will house a spa, outdoor rooftop swimming pool, as well as state-of-the-art business and meeting facilities.
