Egyptian protesters marched down Cairo's main Qasr el-Aini street late Saturday afternoon. What they were met with was brutality and brute force by police, who attacked, fire tear gas barrage after barrage and beat up protesters. Here are images from a side street just off the frontlines, taken as the police pushed forward. Police enter side street chasing protesters away from barbed wire on Qasr el-Aini.
