SINGAPORE: Formula 1 announced its return to Singapore, with the Singtel Singapore Grand Prix to be held from September 21 through 23 in the island country. Organizers said they have made preparations to ensure there are minimal disruptions to traffic in the city and are hoping that “improved accessibility to allow members of the public to go about their normal daily activities in the Marina Center area.” They also hope to see more spectators during the race weekend. Roads to be affected will begin to be closed on September 19 to allow organizers to set up the race's infrastructure.
