Egypt hydrocarbon exploration encouraged

CAIRO: Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Abdullah Ghorab said Friday that international companies operating in Egypt in the field of oil and gas research, exploration and production are keen to keep up their investments in Egypt.
Minister Ghorab pointed out that there are investments of $7bn in research and exploration during the current year 2011/2012 in addition to investments of nearly $8.6bn by those companies for research and exploration in the next FY 2012/2013.
