CAIRO: An Egyptian parliamentary delegation crossed Rafah crossing, winding up a visit to the Gaza Strip on Friday. The delegation was led by head of the Arab Affairs Committee at the People's Assembly Mohamed el-Saeed Idris. It comprised 25 members of the committee and 20 members of the general secretariat along with journalists. They met with Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh and other senior members. Speaking to MENA before departure, Idris called on Palestinians to close their ranks to face their Israeli enemy. Secretary to the committee said that the committee participated, with the Palestinian brothers, in observing the Land Day during their Gaza visit.
