CAIRO: Kaka has been called back into Brazil's squad, which will face Egypt on November 14 in Doha, Qatar. Kaka has seen his form improve in recent months and Brazil boss Mano Menezes rewarded the Real Madrid star with a call up. It has been over a year since he has appeared in the Canary Yellow of Brazil. His last appearance was in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. In the quadrennial tournament Kaka managed just 3 assists as Brazil crashed out in the quarterfinals against eventual runner-up the Netherlands. Since the World Cup, Kaka has suffered a drop in form thanks to a knee injury, which sidelined him for several months. Once he regained his fitness he was able to regain not only his confidence but also that of Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho. He has had one of his best starts for Los Blancos, notching 3 goals in 10 La Liga games so far this season. The 29-year-old midfielder should give a boost to a Brazil side, which has had a mixed array of results. After losing to the Netherlands in the World Cup Brazil dumped manager Dunga and brought on Mano Menezes who has seen his own share of disappointment since his time in charge. Brazil lost on penalties in the quarterfinals to Paraguay in the Copa America 2011, but has seen more positive results in friendlies since the tournament. Before Brazil faces Egypt it will take on Gabon in Libreville on November 10. Brazil will host the 2013 Confederations Cup followed by the World Cup in 2014. BM
