5.5 magnitude earthquake hits Canterbury

NEW ZEALAND: As the Rugby World Cap match All Blacks versus Argentina was playing, a 5.5 magnitude earthquake is reported to have hit Canterbury on Sunday.
GNS Science reports the quake has struck 10 kilometers east of Lyttleton at a depth of 12 kilometers.
Geonet website reports around 1,200 people felt the quake, but it appears there has been little damage.
As of yet the Fire Service, Christchurch City Council and the police have not reported serious damage or had any call outs.
