CAIRO: Hundreds of have started flocking to Cairo's Tahrir square ahead of Friday's “The Revolution First” protest scheduled to reclaim the demands of the popular January 25 uprising that ousted the former government of Hosni Mubarak. The number of tents in the square have increased in preparation. The civilian hospital – erected during the January and February uprising – in the square has already received a number supplies ahead of the “millions” activists expect. Some activists have even begun purchasing gas masks in anticipation of possible “gas” bombs being launched at them. The news on the micro-blogging site Twitter revealed that organized protests have taken place in London, New York and Washington in solidarity with Friday's protest. Dr. Mohamed el-Sonousi at the civil hospital in the square in a phone interview on OTV late Thursday evening expressed his frustration at the health ministry saying that they sent under-prepared ambulances. Senousi also advised people to eat breakfast before leaving for the square and to keep water nearby so they do not become dehydrated.
