CAIRO: Egypt's Minister of International Cooperation Fayza Abul Naga discussed with a European delegation means to boost cooperation in vocational education and training. The talks she had with the delegation of the European Training Foundation (ETF) tackled setting a comprehensive national strategy to upgrade training levels and activate its programs through which long and medium-term cooperation can be boosted. Egypt's Manpower and Immigration Minister Ahmed Hassan el-Boraei heads for the Italian city of Turin to partake in an international conference organized by the European Training Foundation (ETF); the EU agency which supports education and training in neighboring countries. More than 25 labor ministers from around the world are expected to attend the event dedicated to discuss challenges of policymaking in education and employment. Boraei's Italy visit is part of the EU interest to offer logistic support to Egypt to revive the labor market and map out a national strategy to minimize unemployment, the minister said on Saturday. Meanwhile, Boraei asserted that the government is keen on resolving all problems of workers. BM
