ANA- Khadel Shehata The Egyptain general consol in Saudi Arabia “Adel El Alfy” assured that the consol will present an appeal for the judge in the case of the Egyptain rights lawer “ahmed El Gizawy” and the activist “Islam Bakr”, who took five years in prison and 300 lashes. El Alfy adds in an exclusive statement to ANA that the consol will raise the appeal to the court in the next 30 days and this is the legal period of time for presenting the appeal according to the saudi law. El Alfy adds in his statement :“we will study all the sides of the case through the legal Advisory Board of the consol or changing all the judge or make it lower after checking the judge's problems in Gada court. In Tuesday morning, a Saudi court sentenced the Egyptian rights lawyer “Ahmed El gizawy “ whose arrest on drug trafficking charges in April sparked a diplomatic row with Cairo to five years in prison and 300 lashes. Ahmed al-Gizawi was accused of trying to smuggle 21,380 capsules of the anti-anxiety drug Xanax, which is banned in Saudi Arabia. His arrest in April provoked angry demonstrations in Egypt, while Saudi responded by recalling its ambassador.
