12 Black Bloc members were arrested Friday night for attacks on Egypt's High Court in downtown Cairo, the deputy of the Prosecutor-General of North Cairo Court Wael said. The suspects were arrested within the High Court perimeter and are believed to belong to the black-clad anarchist-inspired youth group opposed to Islamist President Mohamed Morsi. A number of masked young men reportedly attempted to attack the High Court Friday evening, tossing Molotov cocktails at the courthouse and clashing with street vendors near the area.
