The supervising committee of journalists syndicate elections opened the registration's door today's morning, waiting for a quorum, to start procedures for the mid-term elections on the captain's seat and 6 members of the syndicate council. The competition on the captain's seat is between Abdel mohsen salama manager editor of Ahram newspaper, Diaa Rashwan, head of Al-Ahram center for political and stratigic studies, Said Elaskandrany from ElGomhorya “state” newspaper, Mohamed Maghraby from Elshaab “people” institution and Noura Rashed from Tahrir institution. 47 Candidates competes on 6 seats of the syndicate council membership. The election is demanding at least the presence of 1600 journalists, representing the quarter of journalists syndicate's members
