On the other hand, the value of Egyptian imports from COMESA countries increased to $1.044 billion dollars in 2018 compared to $605 million in 2017, with an increase of 72.6 percent where five African countries seized 93.4 percent of the total imports. In addition, imports from Kenya amounted to about $ 287.3 million, around 27.5 percent of the total imports to COMESA countries, Zambia captured $ 266.1 million that registered 25.5.
