Sicon, a company providing innovative hardware and software solutions for business and local government, aims to make profits of EGP 28 million by the end of 2012. Ihab Ismail, Chief Operating Officer of Sicon, stated that the company has achieved profits of EGP 12 million during the first half of the current year, pointing out that the company is targeting 16 million in the second half. Sicon is currently working with the three mobile operators "Vodafone, Mobinil, and Etisalat," he said, noting that the company also deals with Banque du Caire and Suez Canal Bank, in addition to the Ministry of communications and Information Technology, Ministry of Health, and Cairo University. He added that the company has a branch in Saudi Arabia. It also has shared business with companies working in the telecommunications field in countries such as Bahrain, Germany, Italy, Malaysia and India. Moreover, the company seeks to open a branch in Nigeria in the coming period in the framework of the company's plan to expand into African markets. It provides services for the National Bank of Egypt, NSGB in Egypt, and Al-Rajhi Bank, and Riyad Bank in Saudi Arabia.
