Hatem Saleh: Govt Keens On Bolstering Arab, Foreign Investors

Eng. Hatem Saleh, Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade, emphasized that the government keens on supporting the Arab and Foreign investors to raise their current investments and inject new investments, whether expanding the existing projects or constructing new ones, in a way helps the nation in providing job opportunities for Egyptian employment.
This came during his meeting with Ahmed Al Katan, Saudi Ambassador to Cairo; paving the way for the visit of Dr Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, Saudi Minister of Commerce and Industry, next week to Egypt. The meeting had been discussing the ways of developing the economic and commercial relations and the joint invesmtments between the two countries during the coming period.
The Egyptian minister said his talks with the Saudi ambassador included taking up the ways of resolving the obstacles which face the Saudi investments in Egypt, providing all the support to raise the cooperation and coordination between the two countries in all fields. He referred that the coming period will witness new mechanisms for deepening and expanding the fields between the two countries. It also discussed the ways of activating the role of the joint business council between the two countries to have more effective role in reactivating and increasing the joint investments.
The Saudi ambassador, on his side, said the Saudi Minister of Industry's visit will reflect the KSA interests in bolstering its economic and commercial relations with Egypt, expanding its investments, constructing many joints ventures, besides the permenant coordination which concerns the issues and the international and Arab situations.
He added that Saudi Arabia has strong commercial relations with Egypt, as a number of businessmen in the two countries seek developing and expanding these relations.
