Ebny Betak School to Be Opened This Academic Year
Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 28 - 08 - 2012

Ebny Betak School, a part of Ebny Betak Project, located in the 6th of October city, will be opened at the new academic year, after Dr. Reda Al Said, Chairman of the public education sector, approved the memorandum sent by Ebny Betak Association to the Minister of Education by the beginning of this week.
Taha Gado, Vice Chairman of Ebny Betak Association stated that the Minister has signed the memorandum, asking the General Authority for Educational Buildings to open the school before the beginning of the new academic year.
Gado noted that the school is ready for delivery and can be opened along with the beginning of the new academic year. However, the educational administration refuses operating the school, claiming that the population at the project is not enough. Gado highlighted that the memorandum includes the number of the population who are willing to transfer their children to this school upon confirmation of its opening.
He pointed out that the cost of transporting students to the nearest school, which lies about 5.5 miles from the project, is EGP 30 per day, adding that they have prepared a file including the names of more than 100 students willing to join the school at the new academic year.
On his part, Eng.Ahmed Kareem, coordinator at Ebny Coalition, said the school is supposed to be launched by next week. He added that it will be built in the area of October Gardens, ranging from the first to the fourth zone, pointing out that the school offers basic education and nursery.
