Department of Computer Science organizes 6 fairs in cooperation with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency under the slogan "ICT Egypt" for local companies working in the field of Computer science. The fairs will start on the 29th of August until the 30th of September. Eng. Khalil Hasan, Head of the Department of Computer Science, stated that these fairs will take place in Tanta and Mansoura, Zagazig, Aswan, Assiut and Port Said in order, and each fair will lastfor 3 days. He also pointed out that the fairs aim to increase the computer sales of local companies in these governorates. He explained that ITIDA will be responsible for 80% of the costs while the other 20% will be incurred by the participating companies. Moreover, a conference will be held to discuss the roles played the social fund, Nile University, ITIDA, and the Department of Computer Science, in addition to presenting the new technologies in the field of hardware. He added that these fairs will be sponsored by the Department of Computer Science, ITIDA, and the chambers of commerce located in the governorates, and will be attended by the governorners. Moreover, an invitation will be sent to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Hany Mahmoud for attending the first day of the fair, adding that the advertising campaigns for these fairs will be heavily launched in all governorates one week before the beginning of the fairs.
