Eng. Hatem Saleh, minister of industry and foreign trade, studies establishing higher council for industrial and quality control to eradicate the random control of Egyptian product. Hatem Saleh told Amwal Al Ghad that it is not proper that the Egyptian product is under 30 control administration, affiliate of 12 authorities and ministries. The control period on some products reaches more than 90 days. The new council will include the members of industry, finance, insurance, health, agriculture, interior, local development, housing ministries, as well as CAPMAS, Central Agency for Public Mobilization & Statistics, the minister said. He pointed out that the new council doesn't need parliamentary approval, and its construction will be discussed within weeks, pursuant to the demands of industrial men.
