Amwal Al Ghad Publishes Final List of MCDR Election Candidates

The Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) has announced the final list of candidates for Misr for Central Clearing, Depository and Registry (MCDR) Board of Directors. This was after reviewing and accepting the petitions filed by 3 candidates who have been excluded from running for the MCDR elections.
The list includes two candidates for MCDR Chairman position; Mohamed Abdel Salam and Ashraf Mahmoud El-Dab'.
Khaled Serry Siam, former president of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) and head of the non-banking financial services institute; Nidal Al-Kassem Asser, assistant sub-governor of reserve management unit at the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE); Tarek Abdel Bary, managing director of MCDR, are seen to be the most likely candidates to hold the positions of the experienced members of the board of directors.
Additionally, the candidates for experienced MCDR board member positions are Khaled Serry Siam - the former president of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) and head of the non-banking financial services institute, Ahmed Ekram Helmy Moustafa, Osama Eissa Amer, Galal Ahmed El-Ganzoury, Saleh Ahmed Saleh El-Barbari, Tarek Ezzat Abdel Bari, Eissa Fathi Eissa Mohamed El-Saqqa, Mohamed Moustafa Mohamed Hassan, Nedal El-Qasem Mohamed Aser, Yasser Ahmed Mostafa Ahmed Omara.
The list also includes 13 names of the candidates for securities brokerage firms representatives positions; Awni Abdel Aziz Youssef Ali – Chairman of the Division of Securities at the Egyptian Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Ahmed Mahrous Abbas Abu Hussein, Osama Ali Abdel Monem Mourad, Osama Mohamed Mohamed Shouman, Saeed Ebrahim Mousa Hilal, Abdel Rahman Abdel Rahman Mahmoud Donia, Azza Sayed Ahmed Abdel Rahman Derag, Mohamed Saeed Abdel Hady Abdel Fattah, Mohamed Fathalla Mohamed El-Sayed, and Mohamed Maher Mohamed Ali - managing director of Prime Holding, Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel Hamid Mubarak, Mohamed Mahmoud Mohamed El-Sahragty - the chairman of Solidaire Securities Brokerage, and Yasser Mahmoud Rashed.
Moreover, the final list includes 4 candidates for Securities Trustees representatives position; Sherif Abdel Khalek Mohamed Heshmat, Amr Yousef Hassan El-Ganainy, Yasser Hassanein Abdel Halim Za'aza'a and Yasser Mohamed Zaki Ebrahim.
Worth mentioning, MCDR will be organizing its AGM Wednesday evening in which the BOD elections will be held.
