EGP 1.25 Bln Allocated For H2/2012: Mobinil
Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 14 - 07 - 2012

The Egyptian Company for Mobile Services (Mobinil) - (EMOB.CA) has allocated EGP 1.25 billion for the second half of the current year in order to upgrade its services offered for its clients.
Ashraf Halim, Mobinil vice president commercial, said the company had allocated EGP 2.5 billion for the beginning of 2012 so as to promote services and networks.
“Mobinil has spent the half during the H1/2012 which ended last June." Halim noted
“Mobinil will focus on promoting its networks, in the remote areas in particular, as pursuant to a firm plan which BoD has devised earlier. The plan shall provide the best coverage for all Mobinil subscribers." Halim told Amwal Al Ghad
“Mobinil is working on having more subscribers through offering new offers and services."
In the meanwhile, Halim noted that having higher numbers of subscribers in the other mobile operators would not mean that Mobinil has curbed its activities in the market. “Mobinil will always work on maintaining its current subscribers and on attracting more clients."
Moreover, Halim said the number of Mobinil subscribers has reached 32 million, mostly ‘are not just numbers'.
The service quality report issued by the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) has revealed that during the first quarter of 2012 which ended last March, voice service levels have remarkably improved. The report also added that the voice levels deterioration in some areas was due to either cable breakdowns, burglary, or damaging.
According to quality reports in Greater Cairo, Mobinil has shown to be of the first rank in Cairo regarding calls quality levels.
