Commercial Bank Of Dubai Launches Mobile Banking Service

As part of Commercial Bank of Dubai's drive to continuously enhance privileges for its valued clients and in line with its endeavor to keep pace with the latest technological developments, CBD has announced the launch of Attijari Mobile Banking, its mobile banking operations.
Attijari Mobile Banking is a convenient, flexible and secure service that allows CBD customers to do banking transactions through any kind of web-enabled mobile device, anytime, and in any location with internet connection.
It provides the Bank's customers with a simple and secure way to access their bank accounts on all popular platforms and interfaces, including Apple, Android and BlackBerry smartphones, as well as a web version for mobile browsers.
"We're excited to debut the first phase of Attijari Mobile Banking, designed for the convenience of our customers," Faisal Galadari, General Manager, Business Group of CBD, said. "By ensuring quick and easy access to money and account information away from home or office, we expect CBD's new initiative to meet the needs of our busy customers, especially in the UAE, which has one of the highest smartphone penetration figures in the region.
The launch of CBD's new mobile banking application highlights the Bank's initiatives to make banking a seamless experience for our customers, allowing them to carry the Bank's award-winning banking solutions in their pockets, and access their accounts from anywhere in the world and at any time of the day.
"CBD is committed to providing client-focused solutions through the mobile channel that are secure, efficient, and easy to use," Frans Jan Burkens, Head of Consumer Banking, CBD, said. "The new offering allows our customers to make bill payments from their iPhones, BlackBerry and Android-based smartphones, apart from being able to log on from any other smartphone with access to the Internet via mobile web browsers."
Through Attijari Mobile Banking, customers can track their bank accounts and credit card transactions, transfer funds to accounts within CBD, remit money, pay their bills, and locate the nearest CBD Branch and ATMs. To safeguard the accounts of the customers, a high level of security and data encryption is used.
Features available to Bank customers through Attijari Mobile Banking include:
Pay utility bills
Transfer funds between accounts and pay Credit Card bills
Transfer funds to other CBD account(s)
Conduct remittances
Track bank account(s) and Credit Cards transactions
Locate nearest Branch and ATMs.
