Alexandria Oils attains sales of 885m Egyptian pounds in 2016

Alexandria for Oils and Soaps Company -an affiliate of Egypt's Holding Company for Food Industries- achieved sales estimated at 885 million Egyptian pounds (US$47.7million) during 2016.
Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad Monday, Chairman Ahmed Abdel Wahab stated that company's sales witnessed a leap in 2016 opposed to the sales volume achieved in 2015, i.e. 664 million pounds.
Alexandria for Oils and Soaps is expected to attain revenues of around 1.3 billion pounds within 2017 since it achieved revenues worth 615 million pounds within the last six months, the official noted.
The capacities of company's five affiliate oil factories are estimated at 350 tonnes, Abdel Wahab said, adding that the company targets raising these capacities to 500 tones within the upcoming five months after increasing refining and packing capacities.
