Orange Egypt achieves over 100Mbit/sec in its booth at Cairo ICT

Orange Egypt announced its participation in Cairo ICT 2016 exhibition held from 27th – 30th of November as a bandwidth and Wi-Fi provider.
Orange was the first mobile operator to acquire the 4G mobile services licence with enough frequencies allowing it to offer a high speed and quality service that the Egyptian customer deserves.
A live speed test for the 4G was launched at Orange's booth, witnessed by a number of visitors. The experimental speeds successfully reached more than 100 Mbits/sec in a controlled environment inside the exhibition. With the current frequencies, the speeds will reach 30 Mbits/sec and when the company officially acquires the 4G license frequencies, these speeds will be doubled.
During the exhibition, Orange is keen to avail "4G for Everybody" by offering the most exclusive, affordable Orange branded 4G Dual SIM Smartphone Tecno N9 in the Egyptian market for 1199 Egyptian Pounds, with specs that will enable the customers to enjoy an outstanding 4G experience. The new Tecno N9 smartphone comes with a stunning 5 inch screen, 1GHz Quad-Core processor, 16GB ROM & 1GB RAM, 2500 mAh battery and a front 2MP camera and 8MP rear camera.
Orange will also display a wide range of devices to match the customers' daily needs and help them to enjoy the 4G experience:
Moreover, Orange will showcase a number of electronic devices including its new router which is ideal for users unable to get conventional ADSL or cable broadband and perfect for temporary locations, as an alternative to fixed line broadband solutions with no configuration required. The router supports a wide range of Wi-Fi networks and also offers options and ability to use the LAN/WAN port, allowing you to choose your connection type.
Orange is offering on all devices competitive data offers (and installment up to 24 months & over 6 months with zero interest at the CIB and Banque Misr.
Orange will also review its IoT solutions which will revolutionize every industry by using smarter connected machines. IoT helps to automate a business through the exchange of information between smart devices to enhance the operational efficiency and by generating new revenue streams. IoT services include Smart Meter, Smart Grid, Field Force Automation (FFA), Smart Transportation, Home Automation and Smart Cities.
