Ericsson to participate in Cairo ICT 2016

Ericsson announced plans to participate in the 20th round of Cairo ICT, the leading technology event in Africa and the Middle East.
Under the slogan "Digital Disruption Era", the event will take place on November 27-30, with representatives of more than 500 companies involved in the industry of communications and information technology attending.
Helene Henriksson, Head of Ericsson Egypt, said on the occasion: "The main objective of Ericsson's participation this year is to focus on the Networked Society and the Internet of Things / IoT. We will furthermore focus on presneting our future plans and strategies as a leader in the field of telecommunications and information technology, in addition to how expanding uses of the fourth generation can achieve maximum benefit for all.
" Ericsson's participation also primarily aims to provide visitors and guests of the show with all the information necessary about the uses of technology and solutions that will help in the deployment of the 4G in the coming period. The company will also showcase the latest cutting-edge, global technology solutions which have already received preparations on the international level. Helene continued, "this is not the first time that Ericsson participates in this important exhibition; the company is keen to be present at Cairo ICT in order to showcase what is new and being developed in terms of ideas and projects in the Networked Society."
Cairo ICT celebrates this year its 20th anniversary since its launch in Egypt.This year's theme, "Towards a Digital Transformation," comes in line with the launch of the fourth generation for mobile phone services which will change Egyptian's lives entering into a new era known as the "Disruption Digital Era."
