IT Chamber to participate in Cairo ICT 2016
Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 20 - 11 - 2016

The chamber of Information Technology and Communications (CIT) will participate in the 20th round of Cairo ICT, the leading technology event in Africa and the Middle East.
Taking place on November 27-30, the event will be attended by representatives of more than 500 companies involved in the industry of communications and information technology under the slogan ‘Digital Disruption Era'.
In a press release, The CIT expressed Sunday its keenness on taking part in this event for the twelfth time to highlight its importance in boosting the Egyptian ICT sector.
Cairo ICT acts as a platform to display the latest and most up-to-date tech solutions and products of both local and global firms.
During this event, the Chamber is planning to shed light on its vision to enhance Egypt's ICT sector which can be achieved by promoting more collaborative actions with neighboring countries.
CIT aspires to raise the awareness of individual attendees and global companies of the big role it plays sponsoring digital industries in Egypt.
For this purpose, the CIT plans to launch its online manual for 2017 that will contain information about the activities and products of 75% of CIT-member companies. The online manual will serve as a good marketing tool for CIT member firms in external markets. The manual will also be available for the exhibit attendees printed and on CDes.
The CIT has 1,020 company members representing 40 percent of Egyptian tech firms working in ICT sector and is eyeing to raise this number to 1,200 by the end of 2017.
