Egypt's Raya studies launch of two call centres in UK, Morocco
Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 19 - 07 - 2016

Egypt's information telecommunications firm, Raya Holding is considering establishing two new call centres in the UK and Morocco, its chairman Medhat Khalil said.
Khalil further told Amwal Al Ghad on Tuesday that his company is strongly expanding into call centre service which brings added value to both Raya and the country.
Khalil added that the call centre industry provides Egypt with 100 percent of added value on services, out of which 75 percent is directed to exporting.
Raya Holding hires from 300 to 400 employees on a monthly basis, he said.
The tech official further added that the total number of employees in Raya's contact centre affiliates is currently estimated at 5000, a number expected to increase in the coming period.
The company earlier in late 2015 announced launching two new call centres in Dubai and Poland with more than 600 employees equally distributed between both places.
A third one was launched in the city of Hurghada in Red Sea which accommodates 850 seats and will be serving Minya and Asyut governorates.
These centres are launched in collaboration with the MCIT and provide training programmes to young people. Khalil confirmed that Raya would continue to make more investments in 2017 with the target of increasing the number of its employees to 12,000.
