Debris possibly belonging to the crashed EgyptAir MS804, which washed up on the shores of Israel last week, arrived in Egypt on Sunday from Tel Aviv. Israeli authorities announced the discovery of pieces of plane wreckage on the beaches north of Tel Aviv on Thursday, suspecting they had been carried along the coast from the spot where the plane plunged into the Mediterranean Sea north of Alexandria in May, killing all 66 passengers on board. The Egyptian crash investigation committee will examine the wreckage to confirm whether it belonged to the EgyptAir Airbus A320. Sources at Cairo International Airport said that the debris was flown to Egypt on Air Sinai flight 055, which flies from Tel Aviv to Cairo. Prosecution officials were at the airport to receive the pieces.
