Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 27 - 05 - 2012

Etisalat today announced a new promotion giving Wasel Homeland customers the option to enjoy calling five Arab countries and Sri Lanka at 2fils/second. The ‘per-second billing' option offers new and existing Wasel Homeland customers the distinctive advantage of calling their home countries at very convenient hours, starting 5pm to 9am. During the promotion period, Wasel Homeland customers can save more from each call they make to Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria and Sri Lanka.
Wasel customers can subscribe to the Wasel Homeland promotion for Arab countries and Sri Lanka at no monthly subscription charge by simply sending an SMS, s99 to 1010. Subscribed customers can choose the per second billing option at 2fils per second calling rate or the per minute billing option for AED 99 fils per minute. The promotion offers 16 hours of Wasel Homeland off-peak international calls every day from Saturday to Thursday (5pm-9am), and all day off-peak calling rates on Friday and Public holidays.
Commenting on the new Wasel Homeland promotion, Matthew Willsher, Chief Marketing Officer at Etisalat, said, “We have received tremendous customer response to our Wasel Homeland calling plan for India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Philippines.
