Egypt stocks gain 0.9% on Monday

Egypt's bourse ended higher Monday buoyed by Arab investors' buying appetite.
Main stock index, EGX30 gained 0.98 percent, to 7646.02 points.
EGX50 EWI index went up 0.65 percent, to 1421.53 points; EGX20 also rose 0.94 percent, to 7697.36 points.
Mid- and small-cap index EGX70 grew 0.12 percent, to 370.32 points. Price index, EGX100 inched higher 0.29 percent to 783.7 points.
Market Caps
Market capitalisation has recorded gains worth 1.7 billion Egyptian pounds (around $191.5 million), to record 409.635 billion pounds during the closing session of Monday.
Turnovers
On Monday, the bourse's trading volume hit 163.273 million securities, with turnovers closed at 757.851 million pounds, exchanged through 22,023 transactions.
Also during the closing session, 171 listed securities have been traded in 50 declined, 87 advanced; while 32 kept their previous levels.
Investors' Activities
Arab investors were net buyers capturing 8.48 percent of the total market, with a net equity of 54.775 million pounds, excluding the deals.
On the contrary, local and non-Arab foreign investors were net sellers controlling 80.56 and 10.96 percent respectively of the total markets, with a net equity of 24.229 million pounds and 30.546 million pounds, respectively, excluding the deals.
