Barclays Egypt has EGP3.2 billion Capital Base

Barclays' Egyptian arm has a total capital base of 3.2 billion Egyptian pounds (US$419.4 million) approximately, the bank's finance director Mohamed Sherif told Amwal Al Ghad on Sunday.
The bank's capital base encompasses paid-up capital, general reserves, and retained earnings.
The banking official further elaborated that Barclays Egypt has no plans for any capital hike in the current period.
