A new video shows Egyptian, Arab and foreign investors promoting Egypt's mid March Economic Summit. The organizing committee of Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) "Egypt The Future" released a promotional video to promote the summit due to be held in Egypt March 13-15 in Sharm El Sheikh. In the video, a number of Egyptian, Arab and foreign businessmen discussed the privileges that Egypt has to attract investors and more investment opportunities, high return on investment, and strategic proximity to global markets. Among the participants were the Egyptian business tycoon Naguib Sawiris, who said "This is the right time to come because Egypt is stable and back and ready to receive investments," "There are a lot of opportunities in Egypt mainly in the mining, industrial, cultural and transportation sectors," Sawiris added in the video. Sawiris added that New Suez Canal project would attract investors' attention as well as Egyptians who would invest in Egypt again and that would be a good support for any investor thinking to invest in Egypt. Khaled Al-Babtain - Chairman of Al-Babtain Group- said that Egypt is one of the best countries to invest in as it has a bunch of various legal and tax legislations in addition to financial laws to encourage Arab and foreign investors and the whole world to invest in it. In the video, Dr. Herve Majidier -Carrefour's in 'Egypt-Saudi Arabia-Yemen-Libya' Regional Director- stated that Egypt welcomes the investors and provide more facilities in the framework of investment field. Ahmed Heikal, Chairman and founder of Qalaa Holding, clarified that benefits of investing in Egypt are enormous, affirming that he is in talks with investors from all over the world and they all agree that they get higher revenues in Egypt than any other country. Basil El-Baz - Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Carbon Holdings, a downstream oil and gas development company- asserted that Egyptian products could spread in all region countries, noting that all sectors in Egypt are attractive to investment opportunities especially in tourism and manufacturing sectors. Moreover, Mohamed Alabbar -Chairman Emaar Properties PJSC based in UAE- participated in the promotional video saying "Fabulous location...incredible human resources, good government policies; I think the rest is just for us to work hard and find opportunities and dedicate ourselves.. and to enjoy success with one of the most important economies in the world,"
