Egypt's Central Bank (CBE) plans to hold its first monetary policy meeting for 2015 to discuss key interest rates next week. The CBE's Monetary Policies Committee (MPC) intends to determine the rates of overnight deposit, overnight lending, discount and CBE's main operation. This meeting is the first one within 2015 In 2015, MPC is scheduled to hold 8 periodic meetings starting from January 15 till December 17. MPC's schedule includes meetings on February 26, April 23, June 11, July 30, September 17, and October 29. Moreover, all MPC's meetings in 2014 witnessed steady rates except one meeting in July, when it approved on raising the rates.
