Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab has just inaugurated Builders of Egypt Forum 2014, which would lead up to Egypt's Economic Summit, which is scheduled to take place next March in Sharm Al Shiekh.
The First Builders of Egypt Forum 2014 is being held under the auspices of the Prime Minister, Ibrahim Mahlab on two consecutive days 25th and 26th of November 2014 in "Intercontinental Citystars". The two-day forum is organized by the Egyptian Federation for Construction & Building Contractors (EFCBC) and "Excellent Communications" a specialized Public Relations and events management agency.
"We welcome the participation of Egyptians and foreign investors in our national projects, and I would like to stress that everyone will take part in building the new Egypt, which we aim to be one of the best countries in the world" said Mahlab, Egypt's prime minister.
Mehlab added that the forum is recognized as a significant core in clarifying the vision of the building and construction sector in the upcoming phase and shedding light on available investment opportunities. The forum will tackle existing obstacles with the aim of attracting more Arab and foreign investments to revitalize the market, improve growth rates, and provide more job opportunities. Also the forum provides a mutual ground for beneficial cooperation between contractors, building companies, and construction companies.
The inauguration ceremony of today's forum has been also attended by Egyptian ministers of planning, supply, youth, manpower, and housing in addition to a number of Arab ambassadors and decision-makers in the country's construction sector.
The First Builders of Egypt Forum, 2014 tackles the reconstruction strategy adopted by the Egyptian government after June 30th, 2013. The forum is a first of kind and provides an important and essential development platform for the construction industry. The forum also consists of a series of interactive workshops aimed at enriching participants' knowledge and getting them familiar with key trends and strategies adopted in the both the global and local construction markets.
The event offers an unprecedented opportunity to gain insight on the important developments in the Egyptian construction market. The forum will include informative discussions and presentations on topics ranging from the New Suez Canal Project, the National Roads Project, and the development of the one million affordable residential units for middle class income. Panel discussions will bring forth the latest trends in the areas of funding, managing, constructing, and executing key national projects, as well as discussing the important and significant role of supplementary sectors.
The Forum, 2014 will also address international human resource development trends, due to the fact that human resource management will have a generous contribution and a significant impact on the improvement of project time management activities in the construction of mega-projects.
