Vodafone Global Names Hatem Dowidar Chairman of Vodafone Egypt's Board

Vodafone decided appointing Eng. Hatem Dowidar the Chairman of Board of Directors in Vodafone Egypt, along with taking the leadership position in Vodafone Global Group in Middle East, Africa and South East Asia in addition his membership in Vodacom (Vodafone South Africa), According to statement.
The statement also explained that Eng. Ahmed Essam has named the CEO and the Managing Director for Vodafone Egypt after Eng. Hatem Dowidar.
Meanwhile, Mr. Ahmed Essam serves as Consumer Business Unit Director at Vodafone Egypt Telecommunications S.A.E. Mr. Essam served as Analyst of Naeem Holding, Research Division. He served as Customer Care Director of Vodafone Egypt Telecommunications S.A.E. He serves as a Non-Executive Director of Safaricom Limited. Mr. Essam is responsible for Customer Care Strategy, Consumer & Business Call Centers and Retail. During his tenure at Vodafone Egypt since 1999.
