NTRA to Set RFP to Strengthen Poor Networks' Regions in Egypt

National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) is planning putting RFP for strengthening networks tender in Halayib and Shalateen within weeks.
The tender is targeting providing the necessary services in the regions Eng. Hisham El-Alayli, NTRA's CEO revealed.
Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad Arabic's Website, El-Alayli added that the tender will be financed by Universal Service Fund which affiliated to NTRA.
NTRA announced that the three mobile phone operators won the tender regarding providing mobile phone services in South-Sinai with total cost up EGP30million, NTRA will finance the telecommunication services through its Universal Service Fund.
Throughout the tender, the three operators will establish coverage stations for telecommunication services in the poor regions.
